Graflex Directions lets the pieces fall where they may! In a project that’s original intention was to unite us as one after many disillusionments from past & present Wars of the Worlds, Kentaro Nagai opted for a generative art movement to make his statement.
The theme “PIECE TOGETHER FOR PEACE” means that “PEACE” can be created by putting together “PIECE” like a puzzle, with purposeful pun in tow.
The Chinese zodiac of the 12 animals is often used at New Years when cards are sent out with the animals’ images representing the wish for happiness, safety & health in the upcoming year. By choosing these images, Graflex Directions has the hope that the whole world will be blessed with peace.
